This is my modern interpretation of Belle from the fairytale "Beauty and the Beast". The result of the male gaze upon a "beautiful" woman is oftentimes objectification. While she wears clothing that is fit for a real modern day woman, she is still frozen in an ideal that is crafted around and despite her.
